Midnite Gossip Earns Best Performance Video Nomination at Simi Music Video Fest 2025

Midnite Gossip is making waves once again! The music video for Streetlights [Mickey Valenz Remix] has been nominated for Best Performance Video at the SIMI Music Video Fest 2025. This marks another major recognition for the band and Michael “Mickey” Valenzuela, who not only directed the video but also serves as Midnite Gossip’s drummer producer and visual artist.

The SIMI Music Video Fest celebrates outstanding achievements in music filmmaking, spotlighting innovative and compelling visuals that elevate the artistry of music videos. Out of numerous submissions, Streetlights [Mickey Valenz Remix] stood out to the judges, earning its place among this year’s top nominees.

Adding to the excitement, Michael Valenzuela also directed Pink Cadillacs by She Bear & The Hibernation, which has been recognized as an Official Finalist at the festival—further cementing his impact on the indie music video scene.

The festival will take place on February 22-23, 2025, in Simi Valley, CA, featuring industry panels, networking opportunities, red carpet events, and screenings of the best music videos of the year, including both Streetlights [Mickey Valenz Remix] and Pink Cadillacs. The awards ceremony will be held on February 23rd, where winners across multiple categories will be announced.
